We discussed our movie title for a while and first thought of MISCONCEPTION, as the title for our film trailer, the definition of this word is: A mistaken thought, idea, or notion; a misunderstanding, a false or mistaken view, opinion, or attitude. This covers the point of our storyline as Amy beleies she is having a nightmare however it turns out to be reality. Therefore Hollie created this title using After Effects following the 'Glass' tutorial on Video Copilot. However after further discussions we realised that even though this title captures our storyline in one word, it may not have the same effect to all viewers. Coming up with another title for our movie trailer was very difficult as the title has to represent the whole premise of the film.

• At first we wanted a one word title as we felt that this would catch the audiences attention more and they would remember it easier which was why we came up with the title Misconception.

• We then thought about the character in the movie and focused on titles based on her experience rather than the whole films meaning.

• This led us to think of titles such as: No Escape, Over your Shoulder, Sweet Dreams and Sleep Tight. 

• From these choices we decided on SLEEP TIGHT and using after effects and parts from tutorials on Video Copilot I then created our final title. We chose this title as it creates a sinister atmosphere to the film, adding suspense and questions the safety of the characters. 

• In order to show the sinister atmosphere I used the black and red format as it emphasises the fear of danger and death.
