Focus Pull

 

This was probably the easiet of all the skills I have learnt as it only required using the camera. Premier Pro was only needed to cut down the clip if it was necessary. I created the focus pull by twisting the front of the camera lens until the leaf I was filming was blurred and out of focus then as I filmed I twisted the front of the camera once again until the leaf was in focus in the shot. This skill is easy and quick to create and it will be useful when doing the trailer as it can help draw attention to specific parts in a scene and bring them to the foreground highlighting their significance.
