Leave Colour

In order to do this we filmed a short clip of someone holding a pink folder and ensured that there was nothing else in the shot that was pink as this was the colour we wanted to leave. On Premier pro i imported the clip and dragged it down to the timeline. In video effects i scrolled down to leave colour and then dragged that onto the clip on the timeline. Then i draggged the source tab out so that there was a smaller screen with the clip in. Under the effect controls tab at the top there was a section that said leave colour underneath which there was different sections one which said colour to leave this had a rectangular colour box next to it and a colour picker. With colour picker i clicked on the pink folder in the clip that was situated in the source tab and then in the effect controls tab under leave colour I dragged the percentage of amount to decolour up to 100%. However although this desaturated most of the colour except for the pink i chose to leave there was sections in the clip that were still in colour. in order to get rid of this unwanted colouring I reduced the tolerance level a little which took this colour away.
