The following spider diagram shows our new idea regarding the storyline. Despite having a good idea for our first storyline and knowing what we wanted to happen within the trailer, it soon became evident that this would not be produced to a high standard. Due to the fact that ,after filming a small amount, the location of school did not look realistic as well as the fact that the peoole we had in the film(including myself) could not act. As a result it looked very amatuer and was more amusing than terrifying. We then had to reject our whole school myth storyline and create a new one. In order to do this we came up with various ideas about which type of horror to create e.g. psychological, gorey etc. We also thought about what scared us so that we could incorporate that into the trailer as this would help make it more realistic. From our ideas and after reasearching other horror films I came up with some more storylines which were not too complicated to create. This is becasue we received advice not to complicate the storyline too much because it will get confusing for the viewer and would not have the desired effect we wanted it to. From our ideas presented on the right we decided to go with the psychological sub-genre as many horror films in recent years have had elements of psychological horror therefore this would appeal more to our targrt audience.
